Chalifour's Rose to Fight Hunger
September 15, 2008
46 Elm Street, Mancheseter
- Help Feed The Needy In Your Own Neighborhood And Receive A Free Rose With Any Donation.
September 15-24th
Chalifour’s Flowers, Gift and Gourmet will reward the generosity of people who donate non-perishable food items with a rose from September 15th – 24th. Anyone may bring non-perishable food donations for New Horizons to Chalifour’s at 46 Elm Street, Manchester, NH, and in exchange, they will receive a beautiful rose for their food or monetary donation.
Chalifour’s has been doing business in Manchester for over 60 years and giving back to the community in many ways. “We know that there is a great need for food assistance in our community. We wanted to do something that would reach out and inspire others to give. This worked very well for the last two years and we are pleased to do it once again.” said Doris Bergeron, Chalifour’s Director of Administration. “Giving people a rose for a food donation seems like a nice way to give back to a great community while making a difference for our neighbors in need. We are hoping to raise as much food as possible to help the families and individuals that need this help to keep up with the high costs of items like housing, utilities and gas.”
